NG+ system

With the latest updates, a new system has been introduced: "New Game +".

Now, it's not necessary to create a new hero if you've completed the game. Now you can "rebirth" and play through the game again and again with the same hero after passing the last possible boss, earning even more rewards. This means that you progress to a NewGame+ level (e.g. NG+1, NG+2, and so on). With each level increase, the additional rewards also grow ⤵️

What else does this update mean:

  • After beating the final boss, you can rebirth to level 1. Heroes attributes reset, but gear stays.
  • Heroes are now charged a fixed fee depending on the selected tier:
    • Basic Hero
    • Hero + 1 skill
    • Hero + 1 skill + 5 items
    • Hero creation now takes place in a network token, depending on the selected server. And most of the amount spent will be returned to you as cashback. Namely, for completing each boss, you will receive an additional set of rewards and these funds also go to the biome treasury. Leveling up is now free for new heroes.

      Old heroes on legacy systems need to pay the new fee for NG+ rebirth. Until the transition to the new system, leveling up follows the old scheme, requiring payment in SACRA tokens.

  • Boss kills now give extra rewards based on biome and difficulty.

  • The SACRA token reward system has been streamlined to ensure a more consistent and predictable distribution of rewards. Previously, rewards were dynamically adjusted based on the number of unlocked NG levels, gradually reducing payouts as additional levels were introduced. This approach was originally designed to balance token burn and release mechanics. However, with the removal of the burn mechanism, the reward structure has been simplified.
  • Under the new system, rewards scale in fixed increments per NG level. Players receive 40% of the base reward at NG0, with each subsequent level increasing the reward by 20%. At NG3 and beyond, the reward reaches 100%, with no further increases for additional NG levels. Additionally, unlocking higher NG levels no longer affects rewards for lower levels, ensuring a more straightforward and stable progression system.

  • There is a feature that "remembers" the highest NG+ level completed on the account. You can create a new hero directly at this NG+ level for the same price as on NG0.
  • To enhance gameplay consistency and reduce frustration, item drop rates are now uniform across all NG levels. The previous system, which aimed to have lower NG levels support higher ones, did not function as intended, leading to lower drop rates for high-level players and negatively impacting engagement. With this adjustment, all players experience the same drop rates, ensuring a more balanced and enjoyable gameplay experience.
